It has been my experience after 22 years in health care that the human body, much like the natural world, has an amazing capacity to heal. I love how listening to and observing a person gives much information about what that individual needs to help her or him along a wellness journey. I use acupuncture, herbs, and several other accessory techniques such as cupping and gua sha to offer each individual the assistance needed to make reaching and maintaining goals easier.

Wendy Fritz graduated with a BS in Psychology from the University of Evansville and went on to receive her RN from Bronson School of Nursing. In 2005 she received an MS in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and became board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Wendy did further training at Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Hongzhou, China. She is licensed by the State of Michigan.

Wendy’s training in TCM has taught her to deal with a wide variety of common imbalances leading to symptoms of pain, headaches, insomnia, digestive issues, and chronic inflammatory problems.  She has specialized training in women’s health and reproductive issues (for both men and women) through the Berkley Center of Reproductive Medicine.

She also has specialized training in cancer care. Wendy received oncology acupuncture training and certifications through Memorial Sloan Kettering and MD Anderson Cancer Centers, and spent 5 years working with cancer patients during their biomedical treatments at Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Wendy combines her knowledge of both Eastern and Western approaches to medicine to collaborate with each individual she works with to discover ways of using TCM to maintain wellness, correct imbalances, reach and maintain wellness goals.
